confident communication

The success of a Confident Communication programme designed to help 750 people become confident advocates of their own work was experienced by the very clients they needed to reach.

Partner conferences held by the agency were the proving ground for the workforce who spent 12 months learning new communications skills and adopting new influencing behaviours.

Key moments

Agency people realised their guests were genuinely interested in the work they do.

Critical results

It’s now accepted practice to meet and talk with stakeholders rather than write or email... people are vibrant and confident advocates for the work of the organisation.

With our partners Central School for Speech and Drama (the team included voice coach Caroline Goyder, above) we helped people learn the specialist techniques and skills professional performers use to command the stage. The work also included coaching, 360 degree feedback, self development. It culminated in partner conferences where stakeholders from across political and environmental arenas experienced for themselves the new  vibrant, confident, open and relaxed approach to the agency’s communications style.
