M&A culture integration
The merger of two investment banks created an EMEA team that found itself lacking some of the learning and development support available in their original organisations.
Emphasis was on action-oriented growth; the team had little time or opportunity to think about their own leadership styles. Lyn Bicker (above) and Matt Evans used Emotional Intelligence as a tool to help the team explore their leadership through learning; the need to be heard, and the need to listen, and the importance of attitudinal development over skills.
Key moments
The team made the connection between emotional intelligence and their company’s performance
