Kim Gregory

step up a level

A senior ICT executive wanted to step up a level and improve the way he led his division of a global business. He wanted to deliver better results by thinking strategically.

With coach Kim Gregory (above) the exec worked on his leadership style and how he used this to achieve short rather than long term term objectives.  The work helped the client realise he did not fully evaluate situations, sometimes made knee jerk reactions to situations and occasionally over-promised.

Key moments

Recognising knee jerk reactions are not so effective...

Critical results

‘...I am more enthusiastic, more motivated; I can see beyond the day to day operation...’

The  client work refocussed his energy and now he thinks strategically for the longer term; he takes more time to plan, to evaluate and he plays to his team members’ strengths to achieve proportionate effort all round.
