cohesion and collaboration
A complex set of stakeholders needed to establish a more cohesive and collaborative relationship that recognised the independence of their various roles.
Lyn Bicker’s (above) work was designed around establishing a robust modus vivendi for working together, stakeholder management, and communications.
Key moments
Thorny matters were recognised as legacy, rather than points of blame.
Critical results
People agreed to create a ‘no surprises’ working culture.
Defining mutual understanding focussed on identifying the skills each stakeholder group has, discussing how to use these well, and understanding each group’s working pro cesses. We brought about consultation and joint decision making to help the stakeholders agree the norms for working together and to take stock of current issues.
