TSOC uses the MBTI personality type tool as part of bespoke work for core leadership development programmes, improving communication, executive business coaching, and for organisational coaching. With group facilitation activities such as team development workshops, it is a useful tool for raising awareness and providing a framework for development.
When an individual understands their own type preferences they can make decisions, solve problems and manage their time in a style that best suits them. This awareness can also help them understand how other people prefer to work, and to accommodate different preferences. Use MBTI as a useful prompt for considering the way in which other people approach a situation, role or working relationship. For example:
