How Coaching Works

Our approach to delivering executive business coaching is to flex with the needs of the client. We provide coaching in whichever format best suits, whenever it is needed.

We have proven experience of coaching on a face-to-face basis, and also coach many clients by phone... we can call for a pre-arranged phone session, or the coachee can call us.. Our coaches meet or talk as frequently as it suits the coachee - on a weekly or monthly basis, or somewhere in between. We visit client offices for sessions, or meet at an external location.

Typically, we suggest a package of four face-to-face and two phone sessions in a six-month period, with email support provided on an ad-hoc basis in between. It is important to note we are completely flexible to coachee requirements.

The content of each coaching session is completely confidential. TSOC coaching sessions are governed by a strict ethical code, and our coaches are excel in terms of integrity, honesty, and ethical values.

Our focus for executive coaching is always to support and challenge the client to achieve goals that are meaningful to them. We draw on all the available resources they need to help this happen. Coaches use the TSOC coaching toolkit for client assignments, picking those tools and exercises that become relevant. Coaches also draw on a wide range of external sources (books, websites etc) to help clients progress towards their goals and gain self-awareness.

We also offer clients the opportunity to receive 360° feedback from those around them, both at the beginning of an assignment, and perhaps a year on. The client is guided by the coach through the information gathered, maximizing the positive impact of the strengths and weaknesses identified. The data is anonymous, and entirely confidential.
