Thinking Styles
Thinking Styles® is a workplace psychometric that provides insight into the way a person thinks and acts. It can be used in any area where skill in communication and the need to understand how other people think and learn are critical to success.
It is an excellent tool for team development, using evidence-based models that make it very clear why an individual and their colleagues work very well together in some areas, and not in others.
Thinking Styles® plays a vital role in:
- Understanding and developing personal cognitive awareness
- Identifying which style of thinking to use to achieve your objectives
- Developing cognitive and behavioural flexibility across the styles
Recent feedback from TSOC clients makes it clear that this new way of looking at thinking processes delivers specific benefits. Customers tell us Thinking Styles® has helped them:
- Understand the socio-cognitive dynamics within a team to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of the whole team and of individual members;
- Improve relationships through understanding colleagues' thinking styles;
- Energise teams;
- Encourage self-esteem and respect for others.
TSOC provides personal and team Thinking Styles® packages. As a starting point for a personal development plan or coaching assignment, the assessment, report and discussion model provide extensive and valuable data. For teams, we offer a one-day workshop exploring different cognitive styles and their impact within a team. Thinking Styles® is an excellent instrument for use with senior teams with new members, or with those who are feeling jaded and need a boost.
Thinking Styles® is a registered trademark wholly owned by The Cognitive Fitness Consultancy Ltd.
